STEVE JORDAN (1969)

Steve was raised in Greentown, along with his late brother (and former Club member) Paul Jordan. He, along with founding father John Anderson and former member Jack Foughty founded the Club in early 1969 hoping to establish a facility for Greentown boys and girls to play sports. To fund the program, the men established the Greentown Athletic Club and started the now-popular Bingo program which serves as the main fund-raising arm of the Club. Steve is our resident historian - always available with a story, and his extraordinary memory of players, names, games, places and events. Steve is a long-time former baseball and football coach. He is retired and lives in Wadsworth with his wife Betty. Steve's two boys played football and baseball for Greentown in the early years.
CloseVINCE HARRIS (1969)

Vince is one of four men asked to join the club as a charter member when the club was being organized in May, 1969. Vince served as President for 29 years. Much of the growth and many of the changes in the facility were a direct result of his leadership. Vince can be found at the Club nearly every day doing whatever it takes to keep things running. He is a vital part of the organization today, as well as an integral part of its history. After coaching baseball in the early years, he has been actively involved in the football program for over 40 years. Vince is retired from Sugardale Meats and resides in Greentown.
CloseDON MASUCCI (1971)

Don came to Greentown from New York in 1970. In March, 1971 he entered the Club with a group of four men. Since that time, Don has held a number of positions in the Club, including President, Secretary and Treasurer - a total of 20 years as an officer. Don coached football and baseball in the early years. Don and his wife Alice (who passed away in 2005) are the parents of three sons and three grandchildren. Don currently resides in Florida and is a 'Life Member' of GAC.
CloseRON FAUSNIGHT (1976)

Born and raised in Greentown, Ron was elected to membership in 1976. He served as an assistant to the "A" football team for 32 seasons, and can still be found on the sidelines each Saturday in the fall. Ron and his wife Sue have four children and several grandchildren. He serves on the hall Maintenance Committee with his brother Jeff, and sites watching all of his former players continue to play "under the lights" on Friday nights as his favorite pastime.
CloseTOM RIEGLER (1978)

Tom moved from Barberton in 1973 and entered the club in November, 1978. He has served as a Club officer for 12 years, including President and Treasurer. Tom is the Club's unofficial "Chief Financial Officer", spending the past 30 years wading through tons of paperwork - preparing taxes, keeping the books, and serving as liaison to the Ohio Attorney General's office and the states Charitable Games Division. Tom is also our coordinator with the Stark Comunity Fondation. Tom is retired, and he and his wife Linda now reside in the Portage Lakes area.
CloseGARY DELMONACO (1983)

Gary moved to the area from Cincinnati in 1969, entering the club in 1983. A past President and Secretary and Treasurer, Gary was involved in both baseball and football for a number of years, and chaired the annual Clam Bake for many years. Gary is a proud second recipient of the Club's "Good Guy" Award. He is retired from ABS, and resides in Arizona with his wife, Regina.
CloseJIM FLEMING (1994)

Jim, a native of North Canton, moved to Greentown in 1980, and was elected into the club in 1994. Jim has coached baseball and football as both an assistant and Head Coach & also has served as Club President and VP. Jim is a long time employee with Waikem Auto. Jim & his wife Cindy reside just North of Greentown. They have two sons and a daughter who all went thru the sports program. He brought to the club a wealth of knowledge, history and tradition, instilled in him by "Club Kid" Cindy and her late father, John Anderson, founder of the Athletic Club.
CloseJACK STAYER, JR (1997)

Jack was born and raised in Greentown, elected to membership in 1997, and is proud of the fact that he is the first second-generation club member, as his father Jack "Pinky" Stayer was a member from 1971 until his death in 2005. A "Club Kid", Jack came up through the program, playing baseball and football, and continues to be heavily involved in the baseball program today and also acts as Baseball & Softball Commisioner. Jack is employed at the Diebold Co. He and his wife Sharon reside in Greentown. Jack has two children - who also played in the Greentown sports programs.
CloseKEITH BARNBY (2001)

Keith a long time Greentown native, was elected into membership in January, 2001. A past Vice President & Softball Commissioner. Keith currently serves on the Field Committee. Keith is employed at the Timken Co. Keith resides in Greentown.
CloseDAVE MICHAELS (2001)

Dave and his wife Sandy moved to Greentown from Ellet in 1985, and was elected into membership in September of 2001. Dave has served as Commissioner of the Greentown Baseball and is also involved with the Scholarship Committee. Dave has also served as VP of the Club. Dave is employed at Sysco Foods and with wife Sandy reside just south of Greentown. They are proud parents of two sons who both played baseball and football for Greentown.
CloseJEFF FAUSNIGHT (2002)

Jeff was born and raised in Greentown, and elected into membership in 2002. He came up through the program, playing baseball and football for Greentown. Jeff serves as Chairman of the Maintenance Committee, along with "big brother Ron", a long-time Club member. He also coached baseball for many years. Jeff has two sons, both went thru our program in football and baseball. Jeff is employed at the Timken Co. and resides in Greentown.

Time came from the Copley area to Greentown in 1976, and was elected into the Club in 2004. Tim coached baseball and football for many years at Greentown. Tim is on the Field Committee. Tim and his wife Anita live just north of Greentown. They have two children who also played in our sports programs.
ClosePAT GRUBISH (2006)

Pat was raised in North Canton and still resides there. He was elected to membership in 2006. Pat has served as Club President and was very involved in the football program. Pat is frequenly called upon to be the 'Club Carpenter'. Pat and his wife Nancy have two children and reside in North Canton.
CloseRANDY BURNS (2010)

Randy was elected into the club in October, 2010 Randy is current Club President and is active in our sports programs, having four boys come through the program! He is also involved in Bingo operations. Randy is employed by JH Bennett Co. Randy and his wife Tara reside in Greentown. Randy is very involved with youth and high school wrestling at N. Canton.

Buddy was elected into the Club in 2012. Buddy is currently Club VP and is actively involved in the Baseball Program and acts as the Assistant Commissioner. Buddy most recently was in charge of Greentown Football & also Head Coach. He is an independent driver for Peperidge Farm Products. Buddy and his wife Becky reside in Greentown and have one son who just completed his Greentown baseball career and now plays baseball & football at Hoover H.S.
CloseTOM MASUCCI 2013

Tom entered the Club in 2013. He is a second generation member, following his father Life Member Don Masucci. Tom is very active in high school sports at NC Hoover and is also a Hoover Sideliner. Tom is employed at Akron/Canton Airport and resides in Greentown.
CloseRODGER LANNING 2010

Rodger entered the Club in 2010. Rodger was active in our baseball program, coaching for years. He also held the Club Secretery's office for a many years. Rodger owns his own business and resides in Greetown with his wife Shelley.
